Every day, of course, is a day to remember our guardian angel—to ask for help, guidance, and inspiration, and to honor the heavenly companion God has given each of us. But just as we might make a birthday a little (or a lot) more special for a loved one, we give our angels a special honoring on their feast day, October 2. Even before that happy day, the Church honors the "big names"—Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael—on the Feast of the Archangels, September 29.
